In most cases, no. The vast majority of our gift cards are emailed to you in the form of a gift card code, which you can redeem at checkout online. Some retailers also allow you to print out the gift code and use it in an in-store purchase, like a gift certificate. This is entirely determined by the retailer, but we do have some information about how you can find out whether your particular gift card can be used in-store here.
When we approve the order for an e-gift card, which normally takes 2 business days, not including weekends and holidays, we'll send the gift card code to the email address associated with your mPLUS Rewards account. If you don't receive it by the second business day after placing your order, be sure to check your spam and trash folders to see if it's in there!
